American Family Association’s Sandy Rios believe Denny Hastert is the victim.

Insisting that she was not defending Hastert’s alleged actions, Rios said that the FBI should instead be focused on prosecuting Bill and Hillary Clinton in the phony Clinton Foundation scandal. She added that she is just asking the question as to whether Hastert is the victim of “political payback” for his time as a Republican leader in Congress.

“I have to ask if this is political payback, you have to ask that,” Rios said, before comparing Hastert’s prosecution to the “outing” of politicians who vote against gay rights bills, saying: “The Right generally doesn’t out people, I’m not saying they never do but it’s usually the Left that does it, there was a whole squad of gay activists who outed closeted gay men who were not voting the way they thought they should, probably ten years ago it was very actively done…. You just wonder if this was about justice or if this was about ruining the man.”

“there was a whole squad of gay activists who outed closeted gay men who were not voting the way they thought they should,”
    Ok.

“learn” is not a word in their vocabulary my friend.

I have to learn how not to be so optimistic, I have always been a “glass half full” kind of person but these types make me think their glasses never had anything in them.

    Hahaha.
Rios is not aware that the FBI can conduct more than one investigation at a time.
    Hahaha.

Conservatives are notoriously inept at multi-tasking.

    • whatthe46 June 2nd, 2015 at 7:57 pm

but he’s a “christian” so it’s gotta be someone elses fault. he just made a mistake.

If he asked God to forgive him, I demand to see his official “Writ of absolution” signed by the Almighty Himself. And I want to see the long form, not the piddly short form.

When those on the right have their hypocrisy pointed out, they always direct their anger at others rather than look in the mirror.

They never did think that Nixon did wrong and the pattern continues.

They are mad that Nixon didn’t burn the tapes.

Hastert is charged with lying to agents. This has nothing to do with the Clintons.

Whatever crime he committed with the high school childern has long since past the statute of limitations.

When he was questioned about the large withdrawals he could have just told the truth, he could have said nothing or he could have demanded a lawyer. Instead he did something that will always lead to an arrest. He lied.

And he did that without any input from bill or Hillary.

But because he is a Christian he is now a victim of something.

    • whatthe46 June 2nd, 2015 at 7:56 pm

a so-called “christian.” they use that because they know they are nothing but low life scum and uses it to gain sympathy from the rest of the morons.

      • Bunya June 3rd, 2015 at 3:48 pm

Do you remember how much taxpayer money was used by the GOP to impeach Clinton because he lied about a BJ? It never ceases to amaze me what republicans view as an impeachable offense. Warrantless wiretapping? No big deal. Torture? Nothing to see here.
A sitting democratic president lying about having consensual sex with another adult????? Off with his head!

    • Dwendt44 June 3rd, 2015 at 12:46 am

Even with a lawyer, he likely would have been arrested anyway. The ‘I don’t need a lawyer, I’m innocent!’ meme often doesn’t work either.

man the right wingers are surely a paranoid bunch of idiots.

If it’s in the past, it’s the Clinton’s fault. In the present, it’s Obama’s fault. Tomorrow will the Clinton’s fault again. Got to stick to the script and follow suit.

  11. AnthonyLook June 3rd, 2015 at 6:40 am

It’s the same President Obama Derangement Syndrome behavior tacking toward Hilary. Same lies, same fake scandals, same right wing tea party birther racists and their inferior second class submissive Republican women doing the bidding of their master Republican men.
