I wouldn’t expect anything more from that very strange being.

How is it we haven’t broken off relationships with Canada and recalled our ambassador because of this?

Wow, a triple threat. Sounds like a candidate designed by a committee.

and born in a foreign land!

Another great example of Republican ‘family values’ in action. I’m glad he isn’t representative of most Canadians.

He’s a disgusting human being, and represents why Dems need to court Texas rather than denigrate her. If minority voters voted in the same percentage as minorities vote in other states Tx would be blue from now on. When Tx goes Blue, Repubs will have no way to win national offices.

He was only born in Canada. As Canadians will happily tell you, we have to take him as one of ours.

He was born in Canada! -they should be forced to keep him!!!

Poor Ted. His stupid joke bombed and now he’s all apologetic. Here’s hoping this spells the end of his campaign.

    • Larry Schmitt June 4th, 2015 at 8:37 pm

He’ll have plenty of other chances to say something stupid.

As Gohmert, Abbott, Perry, and the rest of the Tejas RWNJ’s continue to embarrass the people of the Lone Star state…. Ted plays Lead Clown in his regional band The Dim Bulbs!

These “apologies” sound so sincere. They only happen because they get blowback from their original comments. They’re not fooling anyone.

Don’t suppose it ever occurred to Teddie that the man in the mirror might be who they’re laughing at?
A Senator from Texas who was born in Canada with a Cuban Baptist minister who help Fidel Castro to power alleging to be the father.
    Weird enough, BUTT…
    WIH language is he talking?
It damn sure as hell ain’t Texan.
Nobody in Texas talks like that.
Maybe girlie boys from New Orleans,
but sure as hell not Texas!

One doesn’t need to like Joe Biden (I do, by the way. And my admiration increases with time) but one should respect the mourning during their time of sorrow.

There are ample examples in recent history to demonstrate a total lack of understanding of the meaning of diplomacy by the Republican Party. You have Ted Cruz who has shown no compassion and Lindsey Graham who says if you don’t want war don’t vote for him. It’s clear that the fences that have been mended during the past eight years will be torn down within a few weeks should a Republican, with the possible exception of George Pataki, be elected the next President. Those parents who have teenagers and vote for a Republican for president should not ask their children where they want to go to college, but instead where they want to go fight a war.

This constant drum that Joe is some kind of joke is really offensive to say the least. Biden is one of the most accomplished person holding office right now. For Ted to be making jokes about Biden is the real joke considering what little Cruz has done while in office.
