Marco Rubio is a man in a hurry, especially when driving.

According to a search of the Miami-Dade and Duval County court dockets, the Rubios have been cited for numerous infractions over the years for incidents that included speeding, driving through red lights and careless driving. A review of records dating back to 1997 shows that the couple had a combined 17 citations: Mr. Rubio with four and his wife with 13. On four separate occasions they agreed to attend remedial driving school after a violation.

Mr. Rubio’s troubles behind the wheel predate his days in politics. In 1997, when he was cited for careless driving by a Florida Highway Patrol officer, he was fined and took voluntary driving classes. A dozen years later, in 2009, he was ticketed for speeding on a highway in Duval County and found himself back in driver improvement school.

Things got more complicated in 2011 when Mr. Rubio was alerted to the fact that his license was facing suspension after a traffic camera caught him failing to stop at a red light in his beige Buick. His lawyer, Alex Hanna, paid a $16 fee to delay the suspension and eventually it was dismissed.

Rules and laws, along with taxes, are for the “little people”.
Rubio has a large closet full of stuff that will only more clearly show his lack of respect for laws and standards.

I haven’t had a traffic ticket in 20 years and only three in 55 years of driving. Makes me think he is a menace on the highway…and other places.

This is the time of night when he and Eric Harley do show prep and Gary trolls liberal web sites.
Since tonight they’re putting together their big weekend show, when it comes on in about 5 hours you’ll hear Gary use the Ted Kennedy line.
Kinda nice of Gary to give us a preview of the show……

    • burqa June 5th, 2015 at 8:37 pm

      “TAKE ME TO CUBA!”

  6. Suzanne McFly June 5th, 2015 at 3:02 pm

I lived in Florida (Duval County) for over 15 years and I racked up the tickets. They have to make up the lack of state taxes one way or another. I took that day long class multiple times and it takes the points off you license, I am betting they paid for the class but never attended. This isn’t much of a problem for them, but I understand how this show how self- entitled him and his wife believe they are.

IMPORTANT people don’t have to obey the traffic laws.

      • Suzanne McFly June 6th, 2015 at 5:51 pm

Florida is a hard place to drive and tickets brings in a lot of money. There were always stories about it in local newspapers and how wrong it is for law enforcement to have speed traps set up all over the place. They kept the highway speed to 55 in a lot of places and they have a lot of roads that are flat, straight, and long with a speed limit at 35 so people from other states easily speed without realizing it.

  7. Chris June 5th, 2015 at 6:08 pm

They probably got cited for EXTREME right turns on red (Cuba).

    (Rimshot!)

  8. burqa June 5th, 2015 at 8:35 pm

If we can’t trust-em to obey minor laws, how can we trust-em to obey major ones?

    • Um Cara June 6th, 2015 at 9:41 am

4 tickets since 1997 isn’t exactly Charles Manson level criminal behavior, lol

      • burqa June 6th, 2015 at 10:33 am

        OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

Naw, man, you’re right. Buth the little woman probably ought to get a bicycle…

  9. StoneyCurtisll June 5th, 2015 at 9:33 pm

I saw Fox ‘news’ this morning..
Of course they defended the Rubio’s poor driving record by pointing out that If Hillary Clinton drove herself, she would probably have more tickets..(I couldn’t hake that up)

  10. Red Eye Robot June 6th, 2015 at 12:57 am

BREAKING NEWS, New York Times reporting Marco Rubio did not cry when old yeller died!

She appears to be the real problem

  13. Um Cara June 6th, 2015 at 9:42 am

I’m no Rubio fan – but 4 tickets since 1997 is what’s called ‘no big deal at all’.

    • Dwendt44 June 6th, 2015 at 4:05 pm

That’s three more than I’ve had.

      • Um Cara June 6th, 2015 at 7:30 pm

Four more than I have, heck you are almost as viscous a criminal as he! 😉

  14. Chris June 6th, 2015 at 11:29 am

    It’s Marco, not Marcio, Alan.

    • burqa June 6th, 2015 at 11:55 am

      No, it’s “Marcio.”
Look, you can see it spelled right there in the headline.
      M – A – R – C – I – O.
      Marcio.

      • Chris June 6th, 2015 at 2:40 pm

        Ha, ha!
