A Montana woman says she was interviewed by the FBI last month about whether her brother had a sexual relationship with Denny Hastert while he was in high school.

Jolene Burdge of Billings, Montana, told The Associated Press on Thursday that the FBI interviewed her in mid-May about Hastert. She said her brother told her before he died in 1995 that his first homosexual contact was with Hastert and that the abuse lasted through all of his high school years.

Burdge would not disclose her brother’s name to AP but said he graduated from Yorkville High School in 1971 and that Hastert was his teacher and wrestling coach. Hastert was a teacher and coach in Yorkville from 1965 to 1981, according to the indictment.

In an interview aired Friday on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Burdge identified her brother as Stephen Reinbolt, and said Hastert had been a father figure to him at high school. But she also said she believed that relationship had caused irreparable harm.

“He damaged Steve, I think, more than any of us will ever know,” she told the morning show.

The AP could not independently verify her allegations.

A person familiar with the allegations in the indictment has told The Associated Press that the payments mentioned in the indictment were intended to conceal claims that the Illinois Republican sexually molested someone decades ago. The person spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

Hastert has not been charged with sexual abuse. But Burdge’s story indicates there could be more victims beyond the “Individual A” named in the indictment.

      Yes indeed family values.

BTW, did you catch the story over at Rawstory, IE Huckabees kid (not the dog torturer, the other one), and his acting roll in the sleeze film industry.

The best line in the story is.

Huckabee — a graduate of the Arkansas Film Institute – posted a 55-second clip on the YouTube channel for ProConEntertainment, the production company he operates.

No seriously, the Arkansas Film Institute.

Yeah, cuz as we all know, Hollywood is corrosive to the morals of the country. So young Bubba Huckabee just wanted to prove that conservatives can clean it up. This, then, is the result.

It’s amazing to me that Mike Huckabee and the Duggars (sounds like an old 60s band, hmm?) have the gall to preach piety to the rest of the country, knowing what’s going on in their own backyards.

” Mike Huckabee and the Duggars ”
Now that’s the mirth and insight that inspires great memes.

Do as I say, not as I do. That particular idiom about hypocrisy is especially true if you’re a Republican espousing “family values.”

Unbelievable! And this clown had the audacity to sit in judgement of Bill Clinton.

with todays technology, it’s bound to come out the dirty s*it they’ve done. especially when you yell so loudly about how you think of others when you’ve done worse. and i love it.

This clown was supposed to be the cleanest of the clean in GOP-land… I guess maybe he is after all considering what’s out there today.

The only reason he hasn’t been charged with sex abuse is the statute of limitations expired. If there were any justice, he would be facing a few decades in prison.

It’s hard to figure out what the Republicans are going to do with Haster. Will they throw him under the pedophile bus or the homosexual bus or both. They are definitely distancing themselves from him and avoiding entanglements on the issue. It’s interesting to note that the word “pedophile” has been carefully omitted from any journalistic writing. This was in high school, he was an adult coach. Why the reluctance to address this issue without the child abuse component? It is being characterized as being caught lying and a pay off.
