Oh yeah? American soldiers just can’t wait to get back into a war in Iraq? Really? Joni Ernst thinks so. She spoke with Jonathan Karl on ABC.

“I am not ready to put ground troops in, but I think we are coming to a juncture where we will have to make that hard decision,” Ernst argued.

“How would you tell those military families, again though, when so many have fought, so many have died, how do you say we’re going to go back again?” Karl wondered.

“We haven’t made that determination yet, we will have to make a decision at some point,” the Iowa Republican replied. “But having served in the Middle East, I see a need at some point. If we don’t get this situation under control, ISIS will continue to spread.”

“And I think most of our service members understand that, and I think many of them are ready to go back,” she continued. “If that call comes up, they are going to answer that call.”

Don’t bother straining your brain Republicans and come up with some decision. In regards to Iraq, there will not be a juncture any time soon, where American parents are going to trust war lying Republicans with their children; they are not your fodder.

More war….as a campaign promise? That is so very not right it’s mental or premeditated evil.

“ready to go back” are you sure Joni? Who’d you ask your neighbor’s son that has PTSD? Any vets that are still waiting to be seen by a doctor? You twits still don’t have the balls to hold a vote on IS…still waiting for the president to make that decision for you.

Of course they will answer the call, because they enlisted, you dope. But they are not eager to go, the way you are eager to send them. How eager would you be if you had a kid in the military?

I’ll bet none of her daughters enlisted, which is probably why she pretty much doesn’t care how many more lives are lost.

Unless President Obama requests it, Ernst won’t have any say in the matter. Thank goodness.

I say we let the middle east solve it’s own problems. Every time the US military goes to try to “help” a nation, somehow that place devolves into chaos and civil war. It’s weird how that keeps happening, isn’t it? Seems odd, don’t you think?
