We now know it was Cpl. Eric Casebolt who was caught on video acting aggressively and inappropriately with a young girl at a pool party.

The seven-minute YouTube video shows Cpl. Eric Casebolt using profanity and aggressively throwing a 15-year-old girl in a bathing suit to the ground, face down. He then appeared to pin her down with his knees.

“He was just aggressive for no reason at all,” said Tatyana Rhodes, one of the party’s organizers. “It was horrible.”

Along with her sister and mother, Rhodes organized and threw the pool party and cookout Friday in the Craig Ranch neighborhood of McKinney. Rhodes said everything started with a woman, who picked a fight with her, and then the police were called. McKinney police confirm they were called to the pool for a disturbance and discovered juveniles fighting and refusing to leave.

Rhodes said when police showed up, kids got scared and started running.

“Everything could’ve been solved way better than what it was,” Rhodes said. “There were other officers that were actually nice to people.”

In the video, captured by 15-year-old Brandon Brooks, Casebolt appears to be cursing kids out as he tries to round them up. As things escalate, he pulls a gun. It all leads to the incident with the girl, his knees in her back, her head to the ground.

Since the video went viral, McKinney police have called in extra dispatchers to handle incoming phone calls, asking for Casebolt to be fired.

“Since the video went viral, McKinney police have called in extra
dispatchers to handle incoming phone calls, asking for Casebolt to be
fired.” since she didn’t get shot, he just might get fired. sad to say that right? but, that seems like when they don’t shoot/kill/murder someone, then they get into trouble.

He was trying to get a hold on the situation by doing what he seen too many other officers doing in the past, but apparently they were not being recorded.

The cops there have bad apples too, what a shock. That police officer needs to be held as a shining example of what not to do. Drawing your weapon on civilians wearing bathing suits who clearly have no weapons is a piss poor show of restraint. His repeated choice of language in the video clearly shows his regard for persons of color. He obviously needs to add one more thing to his 30 pounds of equipment, a friggin body camera.

makes you wonder, seeing he was/is a field training officer.
he sure failed the first step in training, keep control of yourself, so you don’t lose control of the situation.

What makes me wonder is if Police Departments are going to hit bottom
and completely lose all respect from their citizens before they decide to
“police themselves”. There are good cops out there, they must be allowed to speak up without retribution and fear for their lives.

Yet another amazing video full of concrete evidence. This is ironclad proof of this officer’s misconduct. Especially important is how the video starts after the initial confrontation has begun- irrefutable.
