Someone forgot to read the Constitution.

Members of the state’s Republican party have published a set of proposed resolutions following a central committee meeting this past weekend among Idaho GOP higher-ups. The policy initiatives the state’s conservative leadership dreamed up include “A Resolution Supporting Bible Use in Idaho Public Schools.”

Republican party chairperson for Idaho County, Marge Arnzen [pictured],[pictured submitted legislative language to infuse the state’s curriculum with biblical teachings. The proposal, partially captured in screen shots below, begins with a nod to the Christian supreme being

That’s what the radical Muslims say; public schools should use the Koran for science and law.

    • Larry Schmitt June 10th, 2015 at 2:00 pm

Exactly. What the hell is the difference?

      • OldLefty June 10th, 2015 at 2:05 pm

        What’s the difference ??!!??

OUR voodoo good, THEIR voodoo bad.

there’s a little country next doo to me that makes very popular clocks – and a little door opens on the hour and a bird comes out and guess what it says!!!!

    • Larry Schmitt June 10th, 2015 at 2:01 pm

I bet it doesn’t say, “We should use Christian Sharia law in this country.”

      ”Welcome to the Republican Party”?

fine. Wan’t to us a holy book as the basis of science? Let’s get all the holy books from all the religions in the world, put them together and do a random select. Which ever is chosen is the science text for that year. Next year we try again.
What do you mean you only want to use the Christian Bible? That doesn’t sound very first amendment to me?

The bible is useless as a science, history, or much of anything else textbook. The morals there are crap, the social construct stinks, It might make a good door stop.

Some of them have real purty pitchers though.

        You should visit Rome.

But for some real artwork Tennessee has sculptures of baby Jesus on the back of a dinosaur. Very good likness.

        • Larry Schmitt June 10th, 2015 at 3:11 pm

          You mean Rome, Georgia?

        • anothertoothpick June 10th, 2015 at 3:34 pm

          My favorite

      Not entirely.
It has a very good sex and crime section (King David), nearly matching “Game of Thrones”.
The song of song also is quite entertaining, especially if translated correctly (in 7:2 the latin “umbilicus” does not refer to the navel but a region about 4 to 5 inches closer to the knees – who needs a navel which “never lacks liquor”?).

      • Dwendt44 June 10th, 2015 at 6:47 pm

Ya, the sex is entertaining but even then we wouldn’t want the bible used in ‘Sex Ed’ class either.

Yeah, this is a person we should be taking advice from concerning history. She doesn’t even know the fundamental parts of Bill of Rights, what the hell gives her the assumption that she will help our younger generations to progress?

  6. anothertoothpick June 10th, 2015 at 3:04 pm

And then we can go back to the ever popular “god works in mysterious ways” as the definitive answer to everything.

It would be much simpler and we would not need to do so much of that goddamn book larnin.

Idaho Republicans are always trying to out-Mormon Utah Republicans.

Just when you thought the day couldn’t get any dumber……

Threaten to boot Iowa from the Big 10 and this idea is toast.

    • Baal June 10th, 2015 at 8:14 pm

Idaho and Iowa are actually different states. I doubt the people behind this idiocy would care if Iowa was booted from the Big 10.

      • wpadon June 11th, 2015 at 6:04 am

Guilty of reading with out my glasses, thanks for the correction.

        • Baal June 11th, 2015 at 6:38 am

It happens a lot. I wouldn’t have notice myself except I grew up in Iowa.

Typical gopee…constitution doesn’t mean much to them
