Congressman Cresent Hardy of Nevada may wish to rethink his words.

In audio published this week by the Nevada State Democratic Party, Hardy can be heard speaking to attendees at the Libertarian Political Expo in Las Vegas.

“I have three children,” Hardy explains. “One of them is summa cum laude and two were magnum cum laude. The other one, he didn’t need an education. He works for Raytheon, smarter than all the rest. He works hard, he builds things that are genius. Some people have that ability.”

“But they all work hard. They are raising their own families,” he continued. “They will not be a drain on society, the best they can. Hopefully they will never have some disability that causes them to have to utilize that.”

So if the do get some disability, should they use the GOP health care plan and just die quickly?

    • whatthe46 June 11th, 2015 at 2:12 pm

and because his children weren’t born with disabilities, then children who are, in his opinion are a drain. my how the GOPissers and their pro-life stance confuses the hell outta me.

How dare those people deliberately become disabled, just so they can mooch off of society for the rest of their lives. Obviously, like being gay, being disabled is a lifestyle choice, right? And I bet he considers himself a Christian too.

their you go using the “c” word w/o quotes around it.

      • Larry Schmitt June 11th, 2015 at 2:49 pm

I thought that was understood. I’ll try to include them next time.

Those disabled people are always looking for attention – riding around in their wheelchairs as if to say “Look at me! I’m sponging off the government!” Take my neighbor, for example. He lost his legs way back in Viet Nam, and he’s STILL sucking off the government teat! Geez! You’d think by now he’d have pulled himself up by his bootstraps and had his daddy send him to some fancy expensive college or get him a job at Raytheon!

I just hope his kids aren’t a drain on society like their old man is.

Cresent Hardy is such and endless a-hole that if I were to shove my wheelchair up his backside it would never see the light of day again.

Anyone living in a red state is a drain on the federal government…which states do your children live in …???

  7. allison1050 June 11th, 2015 at 4:19 pm

Gee. let’s just hope that GOPee Mr. Dumbass’ children or grandchildren are never involved in an auto accident here in the crappy state of Nevada which could very well happen since a hell of a lot of people drive under the influence of drugs and or alcohol.

  8. Hirightnow June 11th, 2015 at 4:36 pm

Don’t worry, Senator;I’m sure your children will grow up strong and privileged.

  9. Chris June 11th, 2015 at 4:37 pm

His kids should thank their lucky stars that they got their ability from Mom.

  13. liberalMD June 12th, 2015 at 9:52 am

What really irks me are those people who are pushing the needy and disabled away from aid and subsidies so that they can suck as much out of the taxpayer as they possibly can….such as certain members of Congress.

    Hitler felt the same way.

The level of contempt that these sociopaths have towards the disabled is utterly staggering. They’d gas the disabled if they thought they could get away with it! No doubt whatsoever.
