Right-wing Rabbi Daniel Lapin and Glenn Beck commiserated about what “sadness” it is that women can’t reproduce like men can.

As Lapin put it, “the good Lord created men with an infinite capacity to produce seed at almost any age whereas he chose to create women with an absolute finite limited number of eggs. And so the loss of an egg every month, for any sensitive woman, is sad because it’s one less opportunity for life. And so foolish and insensitive people say, ‘Oh, it’s just a hormonal imbalance,’ it isn’t; it’s a genuine, authentic sadness which suffuses any sensitive woman at the loss of an egg.”

Beck, of course, was blown away by this revelation.

“Wow, I’ve never thought of it that way,” he said. “It is actually a God-given sadness.”

72 responses to Lapin And Beck: A Woman’s Period Is ‘A Genuine, Authentic Sadness’

  1. Suzanne McFly June 11th, 2015 at 7:17 pm

It seems that they are the “God-given sadness”, not my period. Friggin pervs, since when do grown men sit around and took about women’s cycles?

    • OldLefty June 11th, 2015 at 7:18 pm

When they are not talking about what gay men do?

      • whatthe46 June 11th, 2015 at 7:21 pm

        lol

    • Larry Schmitt June 11th, 2015 at 7:29 pm

About the same number of times women sit around talking about men’s prostates. The answer to that would be never.

      • Suzanne McFly June 11th, 2015 at 8:23 pm

I can give you my word that I never have talked about a man’s prostate.

        • Larry Schmitt June 11th, 2015 at 8:53 pm

And I have never talked about a woman’s cycles, as you put it.

      • katkelly57 June 12th, 2015 at 12:04 am

        Did I mention I have Low T?

Since the gopee and baggers started putting their collective noses into women’s panties

      • Suzanne McFly June 12th, 2015 at 7:38 am

Yeah? Well let them try to put one of their noses into my panties and it won’t end in a pretty way.

        • rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 8:27 am

          I knew that

        • cecilia June 12th, 2015 at 11:36 am

THAT would be the perfect reason to exercise my 2nd Amendment Rights πŸ™‚

          • Suzanne McFly June 12th, 2015 at 5:17 pm

I was thinking more along the lines of throwing a hard knee, but 2nd Amendment could work too. I don’t want to kill them, just shoot off their “manhood”, it is all they love and respect in the world so it will hurt them more than killing them would.

          • cecilia June 12th, 2015 at 6:05 pm

oh, I wasn’t planning on killing them πŸ™‚
It’s obvious we had the same idea……

          • Judgeforyourself37 June 12th, 2015 at 8:41 pm

Lorena Bobbit should meet those two fools. She’d fix their “wagon/waggin'”

          • Suzanne McFly June 12th, 2015 at 8:57 pm

Lorena’s remedy is needed and warranted in certain circumstances.

  2. OldLefty June 11th, 2015 at 7:17 pm

These guys REALLY have too much time on their hands, don’t they?

    • whatthe46 June 11th, 2015 at 7:28 pm

what they fail to realize is that there are millions upon millions of women that pray everyday for a period.

      • OldLefty June 11th, 2015 at 8:02 pm

        And men who have vasectomies.

        • whatthe46 June 11th, 2015 at 8:12 pm

but they aren’t concerned with your man parts unless you’re gay.

          • OldLefty June 11th, 2015 at 8:24 pm

            Funny, huh?

  3. whatthe46 June 11th, 2015 at 7:23 pm

until was ready for children, i was happy about my period unless i wanted to go to the beach. assholes from hell.

  4. Larry Schmitt June 11th, 2015 at 7:27 pm

Okay, let me be the one to point out the obvious. These fools have no business talking about lady parts (as the Pythons would put it). Why is it that morons insist on talking endlessly about things they are totally ignorant of?

    • whatthe46 June 11th, 2015 at 7:31 pm

Maybe they should have consulted with the
Planned Parenthood before making that stupid assumption. or better yet, NOT TALK ABOUT IT IN THE FIRST FK’N PLACE.

    • katkelly57 June 12th, 2015 at 12:02 am

These two amadans think they’re in touch with their feminine sides.

    • Hirightnow June 12th, 2015 at 9:54 am

I thought it was “the naughty bits”…

      • Larry Schmitt June 12th, 2015 at 10:12 am

But “naughty bits” could be anyone’s. These are specifically a lady’s naughty bits.

    • cecilia June 12th, 2015 at 11:35 am

I’d bet money those morons have never found The Clitoris

      • Larry Schmitt June 12th, 2015 at 5:04 pm

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode: It rhymes with a part of the female anatomy. Mulva? Celeste? Dolores!

        • cecilia June 12th, 2015 at 6:01 pm

that is a good one – one of many πŸ™‚

  5. Chris June 11th, 2015 at 7:59 pm

    Is there a Mrs. Lapin?

If so, why hasn’t she beat the snot out of Rabbi Lapin?

    • katkelly57 June 12th, 2015 at 12:01 am

She’s busy with her 19 and counting.

  6. Bunya June 11th, 2015 at 8:36 pm

Because a woman has a finite number of eggs is why we need to get these girls pregnant at 12 and 13, and keep getting pregnant until they go thru menopause. This will prevent these women from deliberately killing potential babies.

    • Larry Schmitt June 11th, 2015 at 8:56 pm

And then make sure they can’t get any financial aid to help them take care of their babies. Because the only kind of baby a republican cares about is the unborn kind. Once you breathe air, you’re on your own.

      • Bunya June 12th, 2015 at 9:44 am

That is, until the kids reach the age where they’re eligible for the draft. Then, they’re once again heroes – until they’re no longer in the military, where they revert to being on their own.

        • Larry Schmitt June 12th, 2015 at 10:10 am

You seem to have their philosophy down. Are you sure you’re not a republican?

          • Bunya June 12th, 2015 at 10:22 am

The republican strategy is so easy to figure out, you only need a Sarah Palin intellect to know what’s happening in the GOP. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel.

          • Larry Schmitt June 12th, 2015 at 10:25 am

“Sarah Palin intellect.” If that’s not an oxymoron, I’ve never heard one.

  7. Kim Serrahn June 11th, 2015 at 9:01 pm

The only sadness I had was the cramps that made me want to kill myself.

    • tracey marie June 11th, 2015 at 10:55 pm

I am so happy I am over that I am no longer bothered by that, at 38 I had was done due to cancer.

      • Kim Serrahn June 12th, 2015 at 9:22 am

        I was at 44

        • cecilia June 12th, 2015 at 11:32 am

I was older than that when my last egg bit the dust. And BOY was I glad.
I’m one of those lucky people that never really had cramps, and certainly never had PMS. And when it was over…it just stopped.

WHEW! and at NO time was I “sad”. In fact I do the Happy Dance.

Life as a female would be a lot easier if it wasn’t for all those morons getting in the way. But as for ‘being me’, I’ve had a great life and I’m one of THE luckiest persons ever

          • Kim Serrahn June 13th, 2015 at 9:54 am

You were one of the lucky ones. I wish my “men”o-pause had been that simple.

          • cecilia June 13th, 2015 at 10:43 am

indeed…and I wish everyone with lady parts had it easier.

if it makes you “feel” better during part of this change it was winter and sometimes I would be sweating even though it was incredibly cold out. Taking red clover seemed to help with that.

          • Kim Serrahn June 13th, 2015 at 1:23 pm

I hate you……… I was early onset at 38, had the nasty thing taken out at 44 (pre-cancerous) But my very first flash lasted over an hour, I so wanted to find a freezer but was working on a blackjack table at the time and couldn’t get off it. Now at 60 I still get flashes and they vary in duration. grrrrrrrrr

          • cecilia June 13th, 2015 at 2:23 pm

            HA HA! sorry

the experience of women is So diverse THIS is why we really need many many many accurate studies. Every time someone does we gain enormous knowledge (Thanks Masters and Johnson).

      • Bunya June 12th, 2015 at 10:28 am

        Me, too.

      • Judgeforyourself37 June 12th, 2015 at 8:35 pm

I hope that your cancer is in complete remission and you will enjoy a long and healthy life..
I, too, gleefully underwent a total hysterectomy at age 38, for fibroids and multiple ovarian cysts. Did I ever have any regrets? Not just no, but Hell, NO. I had a tubal ligation five years prior, and that was in 1971, and would you believe that in that day and age, the 20 century, my husband had to give consent? Yes, of course he did, but both of us were furious that he should have any say in the matter. He, also, had to sign “a permission slip” to allow me to have the hysterectomy, in 1976, even though I was all ready sterile. This was in, usually, liberal, progressive Massachusetts. They no longer require a husband/partner to sign for such surgeries, in MA, but I do wonder about the “less progressive south.”

        • tracey marie June 13th, 2015 at 3:24 pm

I tried to get my tubes tied since I was 18, never wanted kids. No one would do it for me , needed a man to back me up and /or a phychiatric exam to make sure I knew what I was doing. This was in the 70’s 80’s. Thank you for your well wishes, I catch cancer like some people catch a cold. Still get it in other parts, oh well.

    • fahvel June 12th, 2015 at 2:32 am

shift the killing urge to the becks and lapins. By the way, a lapin is a little cute wildly reproducing bunny rabbit.

    • allison1050 June 12th, 2015 at 7:10 am

I didn’t want to kill myself but anyone that pissed me off. ;o(

      • Kim Serrahn June 12th, 2015 at 9:21 am

That was everyday not during the “curse”

  8. Budda June 11th, 2015 at 9:02 pm

These are guys…how would they know? Oh, that’s right, they’re idiots.

    • rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 6:45 am

They’ll have the solution in hand I’m sure

  9. bpollen June 12th, 2015 at 4:34 am

Let me guess – if it’s their mistresses we’re talking about, Beck and the Bunny are ECSTATIC about that wasted egg…

    • rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 6:45 am

      You’re showing your age……LOL

      • bpollen June 12th, 2015 at 6:51 am

I didn’t mean “the rabbit done died” as the Aerosmith song puts it. I used “Bunny” because Lapin is French for Bunny

        • rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 6:58 am

That dawned on me later…need more coffee….but the youngsters think that you find out by peeing on your fingers

          • allison1050 June 12th, 2015 at 7:09 am

            You’re baaad!! ;o)

          • rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 7:15 am

            Thats why you love me

          • allison1050 June 12th, 2015 at 7:30 am

Now that’s true someone told me last week that I was on a “roll”, it made me proud. l)

  10. Mike June 12th, 2015 at 6:11 am

Holy abortions Batman, does this mean god is the biggest baby killer of all ???

    • rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 6:44 am

Or like Robertson said to the grieving mother…he could have been another Hitler

      • Hirightnow June 12th, 2015 at 9:52 am

        Or another Glenn Beck.

        • rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 11:46 am

          That is worse

  11. rg9rts June 12th, 2015 at 6:42 am

Gee could it be because women have to be more selective about parentage while slime like you would impregnate sheep given the chance

  12. eyelashviper June 12th, 2015 at 8:08 am

No, you nitwits, the sadness that women feel is hearing such pathetic stupidity come from morons like you….

  13. William June 12th, 2015 at 10:18 am

Wow, I’ve never thought of it that way,” he said. β€œIt is actually a God-given sadness.”
What were you expecting from a guy who sees dead people. (still one of my favorites).

  14. Dimitrios M. June 12th, 2015 at 12:50 pm

It was with the genuine, authentic sadness which suffuses a sensitive woman when she realizes that instead of undergoing another menstruation period she will spend the next nine months giving birth to an imbecile whom she will eventually decide to call to Glenn Beck.

When compared to that sort of travail, losing an ovum is somewhat more like celebrating Christmas and Independence Day combined.

  15. StoneyCurtisll June 12th, 2015 at 9:01 pm

Right-wing Rabbi Daniel Lapin and Glenn Beck….
Then story should have ended right there.

  16. Chris Jonsson June 12th, 2015 at 10:44 pm

What the hell do they care about a woman’s period? This is a tactic to paint women as aliens, “the other”, incapable of rational thought. Can’t trust women to make major decisions, unfit for duty. Guess what gents, Hillary no longer suffers from the so called “periodic sadness” you are so spooked about. Besides that we make up over half of the population. Do you feel sad now?

  17. Aunt Pee June 13th, 2015 at 1:15 am

Now they’re crying about LOST EGGS? What the fuck is wrong with these people?!
