Texas elementary school teacher wrote on her Facebook page that she’s “angry” that the McKinney, TX cop at the center of the pool party had to resign.

Karen Fitzgibbons, a fourth grade teacher at Frenship Independent School District in Lubbock, wrote that she wanted black people to be “segregated on one side of town so they can hurt each other and leave the innocent people alone. Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something.”

Her comments resulted in a widespread backlash against her and calls for her to be fired.

does trailer parks have section 8? just asking. not that you’d know. um, ok, let me try this again, maybe she should ask if trailer parks have section 8. then they can fill the back of a broken down pickup truck with water for a pool. and she won’t have to worry about any people of color wanting to party with her. ta da.

do they still require teaching credentials in TX?

      • whatthe46 June 11th, 2015 at 9:54 pm

if they do, they don’t require background checks. anyway, today is the day that people need to understand how technology works. but, i’m glad that the majority of them are too stupid to realize that. and that goes for politicians as well. when you put stupid $hit out there, you put out there who you really are. well, if you are an ignorant whatever, you deserve what you get.

      • fahvel June 12th, 2015 at 2:26 am

Perhaps she’ll find out what unemployment is. Since it is texas though, some far right wing christian school that teaches creationism instead of science will probably pick her up….

As Bugs would say, “What a maroon.”

There’s also a principal in FL that was fired today for similar remarks.

So segregationists are not racists, people opposed to gay marriage are not homophobes, folks who claim that all Muslims are terrorists are not Islamophobes, and those advocating that women be satisfied with second-tier salaries and who favor closing all Planned Parenthood centers are not misogynists.
    Got it.

i think you’ve covered it. well, most of it. i am so certain, there’s more to be said.

  7. bpollen June 12th, 2015 at 4:28 am

People seem to have a hard time understanding that “free speech” and “consequence-free speech” are not synonyms…

I was going to guess Florida

      Or ‘ssippee

  9. allison1050 June 12th, 2015 at 7:38 am

She needs her credential pulled so she can’t go to the next school district over or cross state lines and a new ‘do. I also wonder about all of the minority 4th grade children she did damage to with that attitude.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But when she makes them an example of her critical thinking skills, then she got exactly what she deserves. Maybe she should go take her seat with the rest of the fourth graders.

Her efforts to support Black people entitles her as more black than many so called black republicans. Advancing civil right and the NAACP should not matter of about your pigmentation.

  12. johnnybizzoy June 12th, 2015 at 3:51 pm

I am a white person, and when I look to move to a new apartment, I specifically try to move into neighborhoods that have more black people in them, and not less. Everybody knows that black people make the best neighbors. Their children are the most well behaved, and the least likely to vandalize or steal your property. Everybody knows that.

    • bpollen June 12th, 2015 at 4:15 pm

You are a blatant freakin’ liar. You forgot to include “I’m not racist” and “I have black friends” in your sophomoric attempt at sarcasm. Go back to Breitbart.

      • johnnybizzoy June 12th, 2015 at 10:33 pm

        y u mad bro?

        • bpollen June 13th, 2015 at 1:49 am

You forgot to end your comment with a “White Power”…

She is really too ignorant to be a teacher. Didn’t she take anthropology in college? I did, as part of my nursing education. In the first year learned that we are all of African descent. Millions of years ago, the continents were together the human race began in what is now Africa. The continents moved separated and moved over many thousands of years. Those of us who lived in colder regions did not need the melanin in our skins as those who lived in the sun baked, hot regions, thus the differences in skin color. We are all the same, except for the color of our skin.
