Another idiot that just doesn’t understand that his actions are wrong.

I hope you’re referring to the mayor. It was nothing more than election year politics.

“Politics” according to the chief, not according to the three female officers.

          It’s all about the timing.

          • Budda June 12th, 2015 at 3:22 pm

            And the harrasment.

          • Jack E Raynbeau June 12th, 2015 at 11:48 pm

No. The harassment took place 18 months ago. This was political theater in an election year.

There was harassment, that is the issue, not the timing. Quit trying to bail out the guy.

So, five years from now would have been fine with you? Ten years? The harassment is not the issue. The punishment of the harasser is. The mayor has been sitting this for well over a year.

The proper time was the time of the offense, whatever the offense was.

Again Jack, it is about harassment not timing. Five years? Politically motivated? All that is secondary…the issue is whether or not there was harassment. Let it play out. In the end will the three female officers charges win? That is the ultimate issue, not the timing.

All be in the Spanish Peaks ( Colorado) and out of wi-fi for a day od two.

That reminds me. I need to get down to Canyonlands. As soon as we get a high prediction of storms. Could be any day now.

First they need to completely do away with this vacation they call, “Administrative leave”. Come up with another solution, like suspended without pay or just flat fired, they can rehire them if he / she are cleared of charges. But this vaca in the Bahamas with pay has got to stop. Also when the cop gets sued, the cop gets sued, not the residents of the city. The cop or his union must be made to pay and suffer the consequences.
