Rep. Peter King: ‘The Only Victim Here Is Denny Hastert’

Congressman Peter King is standing up for his former House Speaker.
…King [R-WTF] a prominent House Republican who served under Hastert, discussed the matter on the John Gambling Show shortly after the indictment came down in May, but only saw one victim in the ordeal: Hastert. “I don’t know what this is about,” King said. “Apparently this person came and threatened to disclose something on Denny Hastert that goes back over 35 years, that happened 35 years ago, and he was taking money out illegally to pay the person. The only victim here is Denny Hastert.”
“What happened back in the 60s or 70s, I don’t know,” King concluded.

Republican apologists for both Hastert and the Duggars are amazing in that they really don’t think we see the hypocrisy concerning these sexual molestations.

Dennis Hastert is the victim of his own actions…
First he lied to the banks..
Then he lied to investigators (the FBI) about his withdrawals and deposits…
Now it comes to light that his activity involved hush money for criminal actitivy, (sexual misconduct involving a minor)…
This is exactly what theses laws were set up to do.

A white man, with enough money to pay over $3.5 million in hush money over several years, who knew just enough about Anti Money Laundering laws to know not to withdraw more than $10,000 at a time, but not enough to know about the SAR (Suspicious Activity Report), which would be triggered by exactly that kind of activity, (I work for a bank, so I know all about it) is a victim. Sure, that makes sense. Where do these “victims” get this crap? From what dark crevice are they pulling it? It beggars belief
