Ex-Campaign Staffer For GOP Candidate Admits He Lied

The former staffer to a congressional candidate admits lying about receiving threatening emails.
Carl DeMaio ran against incumbent Democrat Scott Peters, but ended up losing after ex-campaign staffer Todd Bosnich claimed in the final weeks of the campaign that he received threatening, anonymous emails.
According to The L.A. Times, those emails apparently backed up Bosnich’s claim that “DeMaio had touched him inappropriately and masturbated in front of him” and that’s why left the campaign.
Well, Bosnich ended up admitting in federal court yesterday he falsified the emails and sent them from a dummy account. He pled guilty to lying to the FBI.

So he deliberately sabotaged the campaign of the candidate he was working for. I’d be looking for the quid to go with his pro quo
