Chris Wallace repeatedly asked Paul Ryan what the Republican plan is to replace Obamacare and, repeatedly, there was no answer.

Appearing with Wallace on Fox News Sunday, the former vice presidential nominee repeatedly refused to explain the details of the mysterious Republican replacement for Obamacare, even after the news host pointed out the the Republicans have had five years since the ACA was signed into law to provide an alternative.

“For all the complaints, we’re five years into Obamacare and Republicans have still not come up with a coherent plan that will ensure that all of those millions of uninsured people will get coverage,” Wallace said, only to have Ryan brush him off, saying the GOP wants to “see the details” of the upcoming Supreme Court ruling before unveiling their plan to the public.

Multiple times Ryan parried Wallace’s questions, saying, “We will have an answer, we will have a solution,” skipping every opportunity to provide even the simplest details of the Republican plan.

If they actually had anything, why would they hide it? All that crap about “repeal and replace” is just that — crap.

I am going guess that Ryan’s secret plan somehow includeds tax cuts for the rich. In the trillions because that always works so well.

OP: ““For all the complaints, we’re five years into Obamacare and Republicans have still not come up with a coherent plan that will ensure that all of those millions of uninsured people will get coverage,” Wallace said, …”

We’ve been waiting longer than that.
In ’93, when Hillary’s single-payer was turned down by the Congress, one reason was the Republicans claimed they would produce a better plan if only if only if only members of Congress voted down the Clinton proposal.
Back then, the Republicans were promising Romneycare which morphed into Obamacare.
With all these years of waiting and the way 3-card monte artists like Ryan talk, it is clear they have been lying to us all along and have every intention of taking away health care for millions of Americans and making it so 100 million of us are at risk of losing our policies.

The GOP alternative to the ACA continues to be little more than ‘political vaporware’.

Working the sidelines for 2 decades in the health insurance industry and lobbying efforts, I can honestly say they have nothing as an alternative. NOTHING.

the ACA IS the Republican plan. They hate it because that black guy is sitting in the White House. Nearly every aspect of the ACA was originally a Republican idea.
