Charleston Paper Apologizes For Front Page Gun Ad

Not the best day for the Charleston paper to have a gun ad.
…that is the front page of the Charleston Post and Courier this morning, with a sticker advertising deals at a gun shop and range right above the headline about the shooting.
Lots of people noticed this and complained all over social media, and the Post and Courier apologized on Facebook:

Sometimes the delivery people and the office/printers are unaware of the others job. This was most likely an unfortunate error, the sales team did not remeber to stop the advertisement.

The distributors and delivery people put them on while they are bundling the papers for their delivery. This is an honest mistake whatthe46, it really is.
