WDBJ Gunman Dead After Shooting Himself

The Franklin County Virginia sheriff’s office has just confirmed at the top of a 2:15pmEDT news conference that Vester Lee Flanagan II, the sole suspect in the on-air murder of a WDBJ news crew, was declared dead at 1:30pm of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Earlier reports that Flanaga had died had been premature. He had been reported in critical condition:
Flanagan, the suspect in the WDBJ shooting, has shot himself and is in critical condition, according to state police.
It happened near mile marker 15 on Interstate 66…
Reports are coming in that Flanagan is not driving a Ford Mustang, but rather a cream-colored Dodge Charger with unknown tags.
The Mustang, with Virginia tags WZE-8846, was found unattended at the Roanoke Regional Airport.
