Trump held a Twitter question and answer session from Twitter’s New York office on Monday. During the question and answer session, Trump vowed to close United States borders as soon as he is in office.

When asked what he would do on his first day as President, Trump responded with a video message, in which he said, “The first thing I’d do in my first day as president is close up our borders so that illegal immigrants cannot come into our country.”

“We have tremendous problems,” he continued, “we owe $19 trillion dollars, we don’t know what we’re doing, everything’s falling apart. People can come into our country, but only legally. I will close up those borders.”
