The media has spent much of this week trying to soften and excuse Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s racist remarks about Affirmative Action, but when you’ve lost Donald Trump, well, it’s time to add a hood to your robe and bleach that shit. In an interview with Jake Tapper Saturday night, Trump had to be coaxed to comment on Scalia’s remarks, but when he did? Whoah. That’s not my word, it’s Trump’s:

Tapper: What did you think of Scalia’s remarks and where are you today on affirmative action?

Trump: I thought that his remarks were very tough. I don’t comment on them. You know, he’s a respected Supreme Court judge. But I thought his remarks actually were very, very tough.

Tapper: Tough in a bad way or a good way?

Trump: Well, I think they were very, very tough to a certain community. no question. I thought it was very tough to the African-American community, actually.

Tapper: That sounds like you’re not supporting what he said.

Trump: I don’t like what he said, no. I don’t like what he said. I heard him. I was like, let me read it again. Because I actually saw it in print. And i’m going — I read a lot of stuff. and I’m going, “Whoa!”

And that’s coming from this guy.
