Tom Brady Ends News Conference When Asked About Trump

After two questions about his friendship with The Donald, Tom Brady cut and run.
“Tom, have you seen or heard about the [New York] Daily News cover, and how do you feel about your relationship with Donald Trump?” a reporter asked.
“I don’t think about it much,” the New England Patriots quarterback responded. “I have a tough week ahead and I have a lot of football stuff to think about.”
“Hopefully we can go out and beat the [Tennessee] Titans, that’d be the most important thing to me,” he added, citing Sunday’s home game.
“You’ve kind of opened the door to some criticism when you talk about it,” the journalist countered. “Do you regret opening the door when you talk about it?”

The New York Daily News published an article Wednesday criticizing the football star for not publicly rejecting Trump’s remarks during an interview the day before.
