Trans community ‘sickened’ by Caitlyn’s Cruz support

Caitlyn Jenner has been testing the patience of the LGBT community ever since she came out—as a Republican. But now, she really might have done of it. In an interview with “The Advocate,” the athlete turned bafflingly famous person voiced her support for Senator Ted Cruz, saying she’d like to be his “trans ambassador.”
Reactions from the community were swift and damning. “Is Jenner a terrible trans advocate, or the worst trans advocate?” a Reddit post asks. One of the over 100 replies to that post said Jenner’s doing it for her own reputation, “even if it means throwing the rest of us under the bus.”
