Sen. Cotton attacks Clinton but can’t make case for Trump
Chuck Todd kept asking Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton to make the case for Donald Trump as opposed to one against Hillary Clinton. He wouldn’t, or couldn’t.
Cotton objected to Todd telling him, “What you outline as a foreign policy is the exact opposite of Donald Trump and seems, really, closer to Hillary Clinton.” He attacked Clinton on pretty much every major foreign policy decision she made during President Obama‘s first term.

Todd then repeatedly pressed him on what’s the case for Trump, as opposed to just making the case against Clinton. Cotton dodged and said, “Donald Trump can ultimately make the case for himself.”
