That’s in addition to falsifying work logs 146 times.

In April, a complaint was filed against Officer John Worden, alleging officer misconduct. The Star Observer reported that the complaint was made by a woman Worden had been in a relationship with. She said that they used to have sex in an SUV outside of where she lived while he was on duty. The day of the complaint, Worden was placed on administrative leave. An internal investigation found that in addition to the affair, he lied to supervisors, falsified his work logs, and had failed to meet department performance expectations.

He resigned, admitted what he did, and he says he holds himself accountable. In an interview he said “I screwed up. I’m sorry, and I’m not that person anymore—and I lost my job for it. It was a mistake. I hurt a lot of people and it’s ruined my life.” He also said that he no longer works in law enforcement and that he probably never will again.
