Dallas weatherman resigns after calling black men killed by police ‘thugs’
The weather guy for a Dallas radio station was incensed by what he saw at the Democratic convention.
Bob Goosmann, the chief meteorologist for KRLD-AM, rained down rage online after the DNC featured Mothers of the Movement, a group of moms whose children were killed by gun violence or police. The DNC appearance featured the mothers of Eric Garner, Sandra Bland, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.
Their impassioned talk moved Goosmann — to go online and complain.
“The DNC parading the mothers of slain thugs around on their stage has me furious.”
Goosmann eventually deleted the post, but not before locals blasted him on social media for it.
Two days later, the station announced Goosmann had resigned “effective immediately,” with no further comment about his exit.
