…Pence participated in a roundtable with pastors at a church in Colorado today and said, “Trump and I believe there’s been far too much talk about institutional bias and racism within law enforcement.”

According to Politico, Pence defended police departments from the “rhetoric of division” while making it clear that after high-profile shootings, what’s important is speaking with compassion and making sure “justice will be served and that high standards will be upheld.”
