The family’s lawyer said one of the unborn twins was suffering a breathing complication and alleges the gynaecologist refused to abort the foetuses in order to save the mother, according to the BBC.
‘As long as it’s alive, I will not intervene,’ the lawyer said, quoting the doctor.
Hours later, they were both stillborn, according to the lawyer.
Having lost her babies, the mother-to-be’s condition dropped again overnight and she died on October 16.
