Where did Trump get that video clip of him body-slamming “CNN” at a wrestling event? Meet the online company Trump keeps:

According to The Daily Beast, the WWE video of Trump body slamming a person whose head is the CNN logo had its origins on the Reddit website.

The video was said to have been first published in the r/the_donald subreddit four days ago by a user named HanAssh*leSolo.

“Wow!! I never expected my meme to be retweeted by the God Emporer himself!!!” the user was quoted as saying on Reddit Sunday morning.

White House officials also confirmed that Social Media Director Dan Scavino had played a role in the president’s decision to tweet the video.

Classy, Don – using a vid meme created by a guy whose screen name contains “Assh*le”.

But wait – there’s more!

The Reddit user who posted a spoof video showing President Donald Trump beating up CNN has a history of racist posts. …

A review of HanAssh*leSolo’s Reddit feed turns up many an offensive post. The user often uses slurs to refer to African-Americans, Muslims and gay people.
Earlier this month, he posted an image showing CNN executives, hosts and employees, each with a Star of David next to them.

“Something strange about CNN…can’t quite put my finger on it…,” his post said.

Evidently feeling the weight of scrutiny that comes with such fame, HanAssholeSolo edited out some of the worst slurs out of their post history, Quartz reported, eliminating the n-word and deleting a post about killing all Muslims.

But he apparently didn’t deem the anti-Semitic meme and comments such as “f***” Islam” as offensive enough to delete.
