Trump may lie, but the numbers don’t.

A majority of Americans wish former President Barack Obama was still in the White House and in charge of the nation according to a new poll.

A new survey from Public Policy Polling found that 52 percent of respondents wish Obama were in the midst of his third term. By comparison, only 41 percent prefer having President Donald Trump over Obama.

But it’s not uncommon for a former president to see his popularity jump after he leaves office.

A 2009 Gallup poll showed that only 35 percent of people liked former President George W. Bush, but after he’d left office and the news that he had taken up painting emerged, his approval rating has jumped up to 59 percent.

It’s also not uncommon for a popular, effective president to be followed by a short-tempered, Twitter-obsessed, intellectually stunted, completely unqualified rich imbecile.

But wait – there’s more!

An overwhelming majority of American voters, including even Republicans, believe the so-called Dreamers should be allowed to stay in the country, a new poll shows, as President Donald Trump and Congress consider changing the nation’s immigration laws.

Overall, 82 percent of voters support the roughly 800,000 Dreamers—undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. when they were children—remaining in the country, including 69 percent of Republicans, a Quinnipiac University Poll released Thursday showed.

“For Dreamers feeling unwanted, 82 percent of voters say ‘Keep the dream alive,'” Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a statement.

That means that Trump’s base is no larger than 18% of easy-to-identify Americans. Look for MAGA hats, confederate flags, white sheets and hoods, and white supremacist tattoos!
