… size.

Everything needs to be bigger with Trump, whether it is his latest architectural eyesore, or the turnout at his “American Carnage” inaugural address, or the number of eyeballs tuned into his “Self-Pat-on-the-Back State of the Union address:

President Trump’s first State of the Union address drew an audience of 45.6 million, about two million fewer than the number who watched his speech to a joint session of Congress a year ago.

The viewership figure, tallied by Nielsen from the broadcast networks and cable channels that aired the 80-minute address on Tuesday night, reflects Mr. Trump’s preferred manner of watching television: the old-fashioned way, on a TV set, in real time. It does not include streaming data.

Trump, naturally, bragged about the biggest viewership ever.

Um, no, Uncle Dotard:

Viewership of President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address is down slightly in the Nielsen ratings compared to his first televised address to Congress last February as well as President Barack Obama’s first such address.

In total, President Trump’s address drew 45.6 million viewers across broadcast and cable, according to the final Nielsen tally. That number does not include those who live-streamed the speech.

Obama’s first State of the Union in 2010 drew 48 million viewers across broadcast and cable, while his first address before a joint session of Congress in February 2009 drew 52.4 million viewers.
