Dick Cheney spoke at Washington’s American University Thursday night and was not well-received.

In a pre-speech interview with ATV, Cheney said, “Some people called it torture. It wasn’t torture.” During his speech, The Eagle reports, Cheney professed that he has no regrets.

“If I would have to do it all over again, I would,” Cheney said. “The results speak for themselves.”

As Cheney spoke to AU students, several of them marched out in protest, shouting “war criminal!” as they left.
