City councilwoman evicted tenants: ‘Should never rented to the fa**ots’
Manchester, KY City Council Member Esther Thompson evicted tenants for the unspeakable crime of being gay.
Joshua Melton told WYMT that Thompson, his landlady, revealed her prejudice when “she said she should have never rented to the f*ggots.”
Though WYMT didn’t find a formal eviction notice filed with city offices, a complaint was filed after the eviction seeking $2,500 from the renters. She claims the couple violated their lease by having six dogs inside the apartment.

“In my 30 years in the rental property business, this is by far one of the worst I have seen,” Thompson wrote in the claim below.
