Michelle Obama took over the President’s weekly radio address on Saturday to criticize the kidnapping of hundreds of Nigerian schoolgirls. Ms.Obama called it an “unconscionable act” and deemed the act, in this case by Boko Haram, as “grown men attempting to snuff out the aspirations of young girls.”

She said, “In these girls, Barack and I see our own daughters. We see their hopes, their dreams and we can only imagine the anguish their parents are feeling right now.”

Totally evil, right? Wingnuts think so.

On several social sites I couldn’t find one supportive comment. On Twitter, Republicans photoshopped an image of Ms. Obama holding a “Bring Back Our Girls” sign to a Benghazi sign, naturally.

Via Newsmax:

Via Free Republic. (I can’t believe I actually went there):

Actor James Woods, noted wingnut:

This big dummy is running for Congress (according to his Twitter profile):

In honor of Mr. Ben Ghazi, they circulated this photoshopped image: FLOTUS

There are over 200 schoolgirls held captive by a terrorist organization. This shouldn’t be about politics. We should be united in this cause but obviously their hatred toward our First Lady trumps concern for 220 abducted schoolgirls who are to be sold for $12.00.

What the f**k is wrong with people? And yes, this time it needs more than the initials.

  2. CharlieMA May 11th, 2014 at 8:00 am

ROFL !! I got enough ammunition from some of these replies above to add to my comedy routine.

There is a large group of White & Black women with signs being held up that Reads the same thing if any of you colored blind ‘people’ actually bothered to be freakin informed, and not so closed minded… Mrs Obama, is the only one in that photo.. DUH! and she happens to be Black. Gawd.. what a sin that must be../s ..

    Again, thanks for the laughs

I completely agree, but apologize I had to edit before approving.

It’s like a competition with the right wing to see who can show the most hate and vitriol. The republican party’s soul has been corrupted. I don’t know how they can go to any church and reconcile themselves with this much evil intent emanating from them, you would think they would spontaneously combust upon entering a church. If the republican party cannot purge this hate from themselves then it should be all of America’s duty to remove the republicans from power. America should not be a place filled with so much hate and vitriol.

    • Anomaly 100 May 11th, 2014 at 9:15 am

It’s a competition alright: A race to the bottom.

      • fahvel May 11th, 2014 at 11:33 am

I wouldn’t visit the usa if they weren’t the absolute bottom already – what can the bottom you are referring to look like? Yuck.

        • Anomaly 100 May 11th, 2014 at 11:54 am

I travelled overseas for years. I can understand your sentiments, however, we’re not all morons here. There’s just a more vocal fringe element determined to make sane America look idiotic.

          • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:38 pm

Yes but who gets all the attention? The fat old white GOPer standing in front of a crowd screaming for blood! There is no question that many of us do not fall into their genre. But it is discouraging when the only ones who get the attention are the ignorant trashy old men leading us back to the days of slavery and women not voting.

          • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:27 pm

In the case of the reaction to Michelle’s comments, a nice looking black woman who speaks of her sadness and concern for the Nigerian girls, it ought to be her that gets the positive reaction–not the hate and racist villification I’ve hear and seen on these pages.

        • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:37 pm

I still believe there are good people in this country. Much of our trouble is that the media stokes this behavior. Racism is still a story in the USA. Disgusting as it is, the loudest and most vicious are the ones the media chooses to cover – especially if people are threatened, harmed or even killed.
I believe this country is sick. I don’t know what the answer is, but it has changed who I am and how I feel about America.

    • jasperjava May 11th, 2014 at 10:03 am

“you would think they would spontaneously combust upon entering a church.”

If only. Unfortunately, a lot of right-wing conservative “Christian” churches are cesspools of hate. Bigots are quite at home there.

      • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:34 pm

        Tax free cesspools of hate.

    • Mark Warren May 11th, 2014 at 10:45 am

You forget that the ‘good christians’ shoot doctors in church.

      • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:23 pm

Not “good Christians”..Good Christians love one another, heal the sick, feed the hungry. Crazies shoot doctors in church.

        • Mark Warren May 12th, 2014 at 10:14 am

As much as I would like to agree, ALL Christians go to heaven; regardless of what acts they commit while on earth. Its what I call the ‘EZ-out of hell’. At the same time, I as an atheist, am doomed to hell regardless of the good I do while here on earth.

          • Don Berghuis May 12th, 2014 at 1:16 pm

Only those who will avail themselves of Christ’s sacrifice will go to Heaven. I am going to Heaven because Jesus Christ died for my sins–no other reason. Not because I did good things in life, not because I was a nice person—–only because Jesus died for my sins and I bought into it. If I buy into it, I will try to live a good and decent life—that is called showing the Fruits of the Spirit. As far as you not going to Heaven, Mark Warren, that is between you and God.

          • Mark Warren May 14th, 2014 at 10:40 am

            So Don,
Perhaps you didnt get my message? All you have to do is accept Jesus christ as your lord and savior. There is NO OTHER qualification. Sure, the ‘lord’ would like you to be a nice guy and treat everyone fair, BUT you dont have to. Because you already have Jesus on your side. Just like Charles Manson Ted Bundy and yes, Hitler. ALL of them claim to be Christians.

But Ghandi is burning in hell while you believers are smiling down and laughing because that is God’s love.

          • Don Berghuis May 14th, 2014 at 12:04 pm

I think the operative word in your comments is “claim” to be Christians. Jesus said that by their fruits you will know them. That said, I believe that IF Manson, Bundy, Hitler had an experience of accepting Jesus Christ—yes, they could be saved and go to Heaven. I don’t know whether a good man lie Ghandi will—that decision rests in his relationship with God. It might be that he will be in heaven. In any event, I, as a Christian, will not be sitting in Heaven laughing at those who are in Hell. If I have any cognizance of Hell when I am in Heaven (which is open to question) I will not e laughing at their pain and suffering—-rather, as Christ is, I will be hoping that some change in their torment can come. If you ask God to forgive you, trust me—He will, no matter what kind of a louse you might have been. Ask Him. I did, and He said yes.

    • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:33 pm

There is a spot in their brain that has rotted. The lack of social conscience and just plain keeping your mouth shut rather than say something vile and disgusting seems to represent the GOP in general. I am waiting for the time that they add a requirement to be white and a racist to their Plank.

      • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:22 pm

        That isn’t in their plank?

    • Aquaria May 11th, 2014 at 3:14 pm

You seriously can’t understand how people who adhere to a religion based on a badly written book full of hate, lies and outright murder would be hateful, dishonest and exhibit violent tendencies?

They fit right in with the violent and hateful desert religion they follow.

      • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:21 pm

I don’t see the Bible as a badly written book full of hate, lies, and outright murder. Jesus did say “Love one another, even as I have loved you. Do good to one another.” That some who claim the mantle of Christianity say evil things does not negate Christ.

  5. Harbinger08 May 11th, 2014 at 9:43 am

They certainly aren’t concerned about showing what kind of people they are. Surely more and more reasonable Americans are repelled by this ugly hatred.

    • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:32 pm

I would hope so. We went through some of this in the 60’s – the racist big mouths were driven underground.
It can and will happen again or this country will not survive as we all know it.

  6. udicks May 11th, 2014 at 10:02 am

They’re just Mad they didn’t get to blame the kidnappings on the Obama’s first..and now they can’t.

    • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:18 pm

You mean it isn’t Obama’s fault? According to the GOP and the Tea Partierrs (but I repeat myself) everything bad that has happened gong back to creation and the big bang IS Obama’s fault.

  7. Mark Warren May 11th, 2014 at 10:43 am

James Woods is a pig fucker.

and not that any of these morons is racist….

Everyone of these morons is a racist pig.

James woods should be ashamed of himself.

    • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:30 pm

Oh I’ll bet he’s patting himself on the back for getting noticed.

  8. AnthonyLook May 11th, 2014 at 11:03 am

President and Mrs. Obama have spoken out on travesties and tragedies from all walks of life, American and otherwise; the racists in the Republican party and particularly the tea party birther racists only hear and see what they want. insofar as James Wood, he is merely a has been “c” list actor that was aided more by the quality of his voice than his acting abilities; he certainly has never done any acting remotely deserving of any accolades. At best his characters have been second banana caricatures; he is an actor who’s personal contribution to society as a whole is void of any redeeming value. His recent antics have relegated his legacy to nothing more than that as a third rated actor that was nothing more than a bitter petty racist. He will be known merely as the racist half baked actor.

    • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:29 pm

I had no clue he held such filthy views. Although he certainly isn’t an actor I would go out of my way to see, from now on I will go out of my way to avoid. Not because he holds those views, but because he is so ignorant he thinks expressing his views makes him popular.

      • AnthonyLook May 11th, 2014 at 1:50 pm

This is not the first time James Wood has opened his racist mouth.

For the brain dead out there wondering why the First Lady refers to the girls as ” our girls” is because she is referring to them as that with a sense of empathy as a parent . Honest to God do you people have an education beyond the sixth grade? I can’t wait for the ” what is she talking about ” comments regarding what I just explained . As a Caucasian woman ( not that it matters) I consider those girls to be my girls too . We ALL DO ! No matter the color of our skin is that explanation enough ? Trust me I’ve read enough ignorance online in reference to this LADY and her HUSBAND to be completely disgusted at some of my fellow Americans who quite obviously abuse their first amendment rights! Ignorant racists who could care less that these girls are still missing .

    • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:25 pm

      Well said.
I use that term when referring to my daughter and granddaughter – not because of their being white.
These people do get it, they choose to not get it. Anything that they can glom onto to express their racism in as vile a way as possible, they are up for. It is a social disease / this country looks like a bunch of crazed ignorant haters.

    • The Bajeezus May 11th, 2014 at 12:58 pm

Agreed! I mean, I’m never having kids, but I understand how you feel. How about basic human empathy? Shouldn’t we all consider ourselves disadvantaged when any citizen of the world is hurting? The people who focused on THEIR issue in criticizing the first lady simply showcase the sociopathy it takes to be a hard line conservative.

    • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:13 pm

I agree, and the kidnapped girls are in my prayers.

  11. fahvel May 11th, 2014 at 11:31 am

the disease of racism in the usa is a depressing thing world wide. The sick perverted commentary of this collection of skumbags is enough to make one puke. America should be ashamed at how slowly, if at all, it has progressed. Progressive is an odd oddword.

  12. arc99 May 11th, 2014 at 11:32 am

once again we see exactly what the base of the Republican party is thinking.

I and millions of other black folks are supposed to consider participating in a Republican party which harbors this obscene garbage?

    . are you ****ing crazy?

    • Anomaly 100 May 11th, 2014 at 11:38 am

      “are you ****ing crazy?”

      Yes, yes they are.

      • BanditBasheert May 11th, 2014 at 12:23 pm

Agree. They’ve waiting since the 1960’s, suppressing their hatred until once again, racism came out in the open and they are now free to express their hatred openly.

        • Aquaria May 11th, 2014 at 3:20 pm

They didn’t repress it all that much in the 80s, to be honest. Reagan the Scumbag opened his 1984 campaign in the town where three civil rights workers were murdered in the 60s. All his trashing of “welfare queens” and “people taking government handouts” was obvious racist filth code for “black people.”

    • Betty G. Withers May 11th, 2014 at 1:56 pm

I am white and I am so mad and disgusted by that human garbage that wrote those comments. My comfort is picturing them spending eternity in hell where they belong. They are ignorant but they are worse than ignorant; they are absolutely evil too.

      • Aquaria May 11th, 2014 at 3:23 pm

Nobody with any decency or humanity would wish the genocidal torture chambers on anyone, no matter what.

It is a horrible and savage thing to wish people to be tortured forever for any reason, and especially for them to be punished eternally for finite crimes..

It’s the most evil concept ever devised.

        Bar none.

        • Mark Warren May 14th, 2014 at 10:49 am

But Jesus will burn you forever for just not believing in him?

So for ‘us’ to wish that these kidnappers suffer the same fate is bad. But for Jesus to torture Ghandi forever is…? What? Okay?

    • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:10 pm

I would suspect that the GOP and the right wing has the attitude, “Ah. it’s only a bunch of little M—-er kids , not real people.”

  13. Heather May 11th, 2014 at 1:20 pm

If the world can’t come together collectively and be outraged that young women were roused out of sleep, at their school, kidnapped, and are being threatened with death or forced “marriage”—then the world is done.

  14. Shades May 11th, 2014 at 1:41 pm

    • rmesa May 11th, 2014 at 4:12 pm

By “they” you mean the media right not the GOP.

    • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:08 pm

And we should—concern over the loss of one or 260 is not germane…we should be concerned about all of them.

  15. Betty G. Withers May 11th, 2014 at 1:54 pm

I don’t think I have read such a disgusting collection of comments from right wing human garbage below. The vicious filth will turn a decent person’s stomach. The are ignorant, racists. The are callous and indifferent to the death of children just because they are black. They are each and all headed to hell.

    • Aquaria May 11th, 2014 at 3:24 pm

See above for why this is an utterly horrifying thing to think.

    • rmesa May 11th, 2014 at 4:10 pm

Right wing is racist yet the left is the ones always bringing up the issue of race. Democrats are the biggest race baiters out there. Check your ignorance

      • Anomaly 100 May 11th, 2014 at 5:37 pm

” the left is the ones always bringing up the issue of race.”

IKR! Gosh, leftists are so stupid to bring up a problem. It’s much better to just ignore it, amirite?

      • Andrew Babin May 11th, 2014 at 6:25 pm

Oh so when conservatives make comments like, “would this idiot so called undignified ‘first’ lady comment if these girls are white?” and “Why is it only ‘black’ that they see as their children? … Why only the black ones???” and “Interesting that she calls the African girls ‘our girls'”, they aren’t bringing up issues of race?

Correct me if I’m wrong but Michelle Obama said NOTHING about wanting to rescue 200 young girls that were kidnapped because of the color of their skin. Right wingers were the ones who jumped to that conclusion. They saw what she said and INSTANTLY figured it must have something to do with her being black. And we’re the ones who are race baiting?! Give me a f****** break.

    • VIsidore` May 12th, 2014 at 4:07 pm

      Well stated!

  16. The Bajeezus May 11th, 2014 at 2:00 pm

  17. Deirdre Hebert May 11th, 2014 at 3:20 pm

This is what’s wrong with the GOP, and why I haven’t voted Republican in more than 20 years. It’s nothing but racism and anti-intellectualism. The GOP is the American Taliban.

  18. VIsidore` May 11th, 2014 at 3:36 pm

I would think “our girls” means girls of the human race.

    • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 9:05 pm

No, I think Mrs Obama meant that she looked at her daughters and the Nigerian girls as sisters and that she grieved for them as she would for her own daughters—not just because the Nigerian girls were black. If the girls had been abducted from some place that was essentially a white area and the girls were white, she would have said muc h the same thing—-given that children were abducted for an ideological reason. Don’t make human concern from the FLOTUS into a racial thing.

      • VIsidore` May 12th, 2014 at 4:06 pm

“Human race” is everyone. I didn’t write “black girls.” What FLOTUS said is not racial.

  19. rmesa May 11th, 2014 at 4:07 pm

220 x $12 = $2640 just givw the kidnappers $3000 and be done with I have $100 for the go fund me campaign just to not have to listen to you idiots complain about someone speaking there mind just because you don’t agree with it.

  23. lindsncal May 12th, 2014 at 3:00 pm

Heh….Newsmax is about as disgusting a site there is.

….the Obamas, damned if they do and damned if they don’t by Republicans.
These Nigerians kill young children so they can’t vote or fight against them as adults.
Do you not recognize that the republican party has the same agenda here ….to cut education, health services and food for the poor and children? They just use money to do it. It’s an age old agenda. When Michelle tried to teach kids to eat healthfully you called her a food Nazi.

Everything republicans do involves cutting education and services and money to the poor. She’s concerned about that too but you ignore it.
Bringing up the Obama name when anything bad happens anywhere in the world is getting old and now is nothing but an embarrassment to the country.
Stop the nonsense and learn who your real enemies are.

Harvey Milk Stamped “Out” Forever !

The Obama Cabal is behind universal GAYety with a “forever” postage
stamp glorifying Harvey Milk, a Jewish homosexual predator “attracted to
boys aged 15-19,” according to WikiAnswers! (Also see Wikipedia.)
Global gaydom was even predicted by Jesus (see “days of Lot” in Luke 17 and compare with Genesis 19).

And the Hebrew prophet Zechariah (14th chapter) says that during the
same end-time gay “days” ALL nations will come against Israel and
fulfill the “days of Noah” at the same time (see Luke 17 again) – a
short time of anti-Jewish genocide found in Zechariah 13:8 when
two-thirds of all Jews will die.
In other words, when “gay days” have become universal, all hell will break loose!

The same “days” will cause worldwide human government to collapse in
just a few short years! For the first time ever there won’t be enough
time for anyone to attend college, have a family, enjoy retirement, etc.
It will also be the last time anyone like ObabaBlackSheep will be able
to keep pulling the wool over our eyes!
One final thought. The more we see gays “coming out,” the sooner Jesus will be “coming down”!

For more, Google or Yahoo “God to Same-Sexers: Hurry Up,” “Jesus Never
Mentioned Homosexuality. When gays have birthdays…,” “FOR GAYS ONLY:
Jesus Predicted…,” “USA – from Puritans to Impure-itans!” and “The
    Background Obama Can’t Cover Up.”
