Militia Group Of ‘Patriots’ Calls On Other Extremists To Join Them In Guarding The Border
A Militia group that identifies itself as a coalition of “patriots” is asking for volunteers to join them at the Texas-Mexico border and help with a citizen militia operation called “Secure our Border – Laredo.” What could go wrong?
According to The Brownsville Herald, a spokeswoman for the group, Denice Freeman, said the operation is a call for civilian militia members — both armed and unarmed — to voluntarily guard private property in the Laredo area and other Texas locations where owners feel threatened by “drug cartels and from gangs, particularly the MS-13 gangs,” a Salvadoran-based gang that is considered among the most dangerous in this country by law enforcement.

Freeman said she expected militia members to become visible in border communities, including the Rio Grande Valley, in the coming weeks but she wanted to stress that the operation’s commander — Chris Davis — is warning members against using any violent means. However, Davis considers himself to be a Three Percenter, which is an anti-government group which believes the federal government is plotting to take away the rights of American citizens and must be resisted.
Freeman said, “This is not a ‘go-in-guns-blazing’ kind of thing. This will be handled with the utmost professionalism and security and safety for everyone involved.”

However, in a 21-minute Youtube video featuring a man who identifies himself as Cmdr. Chris Davis, the person said it’s time to secure the borders. “How?” he asked on the video. “You see an illegal. You point your gun dead at him, right between his eyes, and you say, ‘Get back across the border or you will be shot.’”
In the video Davis also accused “illegal immigrants” of “invading” our country and said, “It is time that we start taking back our national sovereignty.”
Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra said the self-appointed militia is not needed in the Rio Grande Valley.
Guerra said, “We don’t need their services on our border. If we ever did I’m sure we have enough good people in Hidalgo County that I can call up.”
On Twitter, Davis’ profile reads, “I believe in the King James Bible, The Constitution, and Bill of Rights! I am a Future Veteran of the Refounding. Molon Labe! III%! Spirit of 1776!”
While writing this post, I was listening to an interview by Alan Colmes with an anti-immigration protester who organized the protests in Murietta, California, and she insists there is “no hate at these rallies,” even though their hatred for undocumented immigrants has been well documented.

They tried this before. In Arizona. Didn’t go so well. A father and his 9 year old daughter were murdered in their home – the militia tried to blame illegal immigrants.
Chris Simcox founded the Minutemen group. This man represents today’s “Militia” ….Believe it or not, he is a former kindergarten teacher (keep reading, it will all make sense).
Here’s a bit of the story from Wiki:
On April 16, 2010, Simcox’s 3rd wife was granted an order of protection after she alleged that Simcox “brandished a gun and threatened to shoot her, their children and any police officers who tried to protect them.” Bounty Hunter Stacey O’Connell forced Chris Simcox into being served the Order of Protection after pursuing him for 30 days. Chris Simcox arrived at a Maricopa County Courthouse to have himself served on July 6, 2010.
(Now the kindergarten thing)
On June 19, 2013, Simcox was arrested by the Phoenix Police Department on multiple counts related to child molestation and sexual conduct with a minor.The arrest took place in Phoenix, Arizona and involves three girls under the age of 10 years old, one of which was his own daughter. Charges currently are: two counts of child molestation, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, and one of the attempted molestation of a child.

Leaving aside the question of how it is known that the person thus targeted is “an illegal” (I’m assuming that anyone who looks vaguely latino would qualify, to these clowns), I’m pretty sure that this would be Unlawful Restraint, with the threat of violence making it Felony Unlawful Restraint. Congratulations, dummy, and say hi to the other members of the white supremacist gang when you get to the Fed lockup.
I’d also remind Cmdr Davis that even “illegals” enjoy protection under the law in this country, especially from phony vigilante “patriots” who are not duly authorized law enforcement officers.
